This week was a week of birthdays. Two of my good friends and my Mom had birthdays. So here's a shout out to you lovely ladies.
First up is my friend Cathy. Cathy and I have been through a lot together. She was my first good friend in my sorority (after Dub), we met on a coke date with a fraternity boy. There usually were so many girls and not enough boys for dates so they would match two or more girls up. They lined us up by height and Cathy and I are the same height....instant friends!! Cathy and I were roommates many times and we traveled over seas together. There are too many stories to even begin to tell you about our friendship. Happy Birthday Cathy, I am blessed to be your friend!

The next Birthday girl is Katie. I met Katie at school a few years ago. There are not enough words to describe her. She is hilarious, cute, adventurous, and just plain fun to be around. Simply put I feel like we have been friends for life even though it's been a few years. We held a little shindig for Katie on her Birthday, July 2nd. It was a great time, so great in fact that we didn't part ways until 1:00 a.m. I know what you are thinking...pretty crazy for a 33 year old (Katie turned 33).
Happy Birthday Katie, love you!!!
Here are some pics from her Birthday dinner.
This picture is blurry but I had to put it on here. We were laughing so hard at the candle which continued to light after she blew it out....doesn't take much to please us.
Opening her toms from San
Also had to include this because of Courtney's laugh, and the centerpiece of course.
And last but not least my Mom's birthday was today. She is a firecracker baby!!!! My Mom and I are best friends, I was so happy to hang out with her on her birthday before they had to drive back home. She is so helpful when she comes and so fun to be around. She has an eye for sales and always finds the best deals when we are together. My favorite thing about my Mom is her willingness to serve. She is always putting others first, I hope I have some of that quality. Love you Mom, Happy Birthday!!!
Happy 4th of July, friends!!!
